Painting Fome-Cor®, Jet-Mount®, and Foam-X® Recovery
Fome-Cor® products may be painted utilizing many commercially available coatings. It is advisable to pretest before committing to a production run.

Laminating Fome-Cor® & Gator™ Products
Laminating and mounting are terms that are often times interchanged, however for this document laminating is defined as an application of placing a covering (film or liquid) over a mounted item to either protect the graphic or provide a certain appearance i.e. matte or glossy finish. Mounting is the attachment of a graphic to a substrate. A graphic can be placed on paper, foil, plastic or fabric for mounting to the substrate.
Die Cutting & Embossing Fome-Cor® & Gator™ Products
Key elements to consider when die cutting are the press, the steel rule, the ejection rubber and the substrate. When these elements are properly selected they yield satisfactory results. Embossing of Fome-Cor Products enhances foil laminates, glossy lithographs or high gloss screen prints.
Mounting Fome-Cor® & Gator™ Products
Mounting is defined as the attachment of the graphic to the substrate. There are a variety of methods (adhesive and type method of applying pressure) for mounting a graphic to a substrate. For this document mounting will be broken into two groupings, hot or cold mounting and discussing the various methods of applying pressure.
Direct Printing or Painting Fome-Cor® & Gator™ Products
Direct printing can be accomplished by either digital printing or screen-printing. Both the Fome-Cor and Gator products can be utilized very effectively with direct print techniques.
